Inquirers' Class - Discontinued until after Easter

The Inquirers' Class, led by Father Gus, meets every Thursday evening at 7:00 pm in the Parish hall. The class will be followed by the brief liturgy of Benediction. The meeting will be seminar in nature, and participation encourged, not obligatory. There is no sign-up, just show-up.
The first suggested topic is a brief history of the Polish National Catholic Church (PNCC), hoping to answer the following questions, and any others the group is interested in pursuing:
-
In the beginning or "How did the PNCC start and who started it?"
-
And then or "What were the highlights during the first 100 years?"
-
What about now or "If I'm not Polish, do I have to adopt a Polish attitude? Can I now tell Polish jokes with a clear conscience? Do I have to learn the language?"
-
Are we recognized or "What is the PNCC's relationship with the Roman and other Catholic and Apostolic Churches?" What is a 'Catholic and Apostolic' Church?"
- I don't have a lot of time or "Will we have any homework?"
It is planned to follow the first class with a study of some of the writings of Peter Krefft, beginning with the title Jesus Shock. Dr. Kreeft is a professor of philosophy at Boston College and a noted Roman Catholic apologist and philosopher. Other titles include: The Philosophy of Jesus, Christianity for Modern Pagans, Socrates Meets Jesus, Because god is Real, and Prayer For Beginners.
